The Revolution Will Not Be Digitalized, Part Deux

Ok, so just a quick one here. There’s a wonderful blog called Every Record Tells a Story, and the steward of the blog is a proponent of vinyl and has excellent taste in music. He’s also a terrific writer. Anyway, he just completed a 5-part series on a wager he and a buddy of his had that made for some very entertaining reading. Compelling, even. The wager was thus: he said he could find and buy all 14 of the original Beatles albums on vinyl cheaper than what the new Beatles vinyl box is going for, retail. His story revolves around searching in thrift shops, record fairs and a bunch of other places, and it’s quite nail biting, actually. The stake? If he loses he has to listen to a Mariah Carey album a whole bunch of times. High stakes indeed.

Does he win, or does he lose? You’ll have to click on the link to find out. The last post, the conclusion, is the first post you’ll see, so go back to the beginning. No cheating!
